Saumya Mishra is clinical Diet & Nutrition expert of SIPS.  

After doing her post-graduation in Nutrition Science, she worked in Christian Medical College, Ludhiana as a Dietitian. She was awarded with many prestigious awards, scholarships and certificate of merit during her studies of graduation and post-graduation. Now she is working as an Expert Dietitian in SIPS Superspeciality Hospital, Burns & Trauma Center, Lucknow and Lecturer in Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, SIPS Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Lucknow.  

Her key area of interest is nutrition in severe and deep Burn cases as well as poly-trauma cases, which are a victim of prolonged & sever metabolic disturbances due to huge injuries. She is also working for severely Obese and Diabetic patients admitted in the hospital as well in Obesity & Diabetic Clinics of SIPS Hospital.  

She is a regular & active participant of various symposia & conferences organized by ISPEN at various places like KGMU Lucknow, AIIMS New Delhi & CMC Ludhiana. She was a very active participant in the various activities of the NATIONAL NUTRITION WEEK conducted by Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow. She is regularly presenting her work on patients and nutritional guidelines to various groups of people in CMEs and camps.  

She worked for poor’s and malnourished persons, worked and provides her services in various medical camps organized  Malaerkotla, Manuke, Latala and Lalto districts of Punjab.  

She is an active Life Member of INDIAN DIETETIC ASSOCIATION. She is also an ex-member of Juvenile Diabetic Club of CMC Ludhiana.
